Gentle Dental Petaluma - CLOSED

Haven’t always been a big fan of the dentist but Gentle Dental has been awesome over the course of the last few days since I chipped my tooth. The whole team is awesome, they’re all very sweet and very helpful. Thank you too Dr.Alias for the work as well. Great service. Wonderful team.

Great service and friendly staff. Two star review is because of my concerns over pandemic safety. While they make the appearance that they are trying to keep the office clean/safe (temperature checks and questionnaires) they fail to comply with mask regulations. I cancelled my cleaning because my experience during my last appointment. Several of the staff walking around without masks on or pulling them down to talk to you. If I didn't have to sit in a chair with my own mask off for an extended period of time this wouldn't be as big of a deal. However, when your work makes it difficult to the office to be pandemic safe it is of the upmost importance that all staff strictly adhere to safe mask guidelines. Given the fact we know this virus is contagious prior to (or without any) apparent symptoms of temperature, fever, fatigue, etc. It is disappointing that a medical office behaves in such a care free manner about their patients health and safety. Will be finding another dental office.

I arrived 15 minutes early and they didn’t see me for almost an hour. Then told me they were too busy to actually tell me any X-ray results or info about my exam and would call later to go over it. That was yesterday and I still haven’t heard a thing. My dentist did tell me I have a massive amount of cavities within the 2 minutes he saw me. The next dentist I went to said I have 2 cavities. Obviously they are trying to make money but it’s a shame they try in this way.

Made an appointment over the phone, got a confirmation for the day I was scheduled. I show up the day of my appointment only to find out the person who schedule my appointment didn’t do it right . I guess gentle dental works with someone that schedules appointment for them but they don’t really know what their doing cause no one at their office seem to know I had an appointment till the lady at the front desk went on her system and founded my name. Turns out the person who schedule my appointment schedule me with someone that hasn’t work there for over a year.
