We worked with Kartik to install blinds for our last home and current home. It was a breeze working with him from the blinds consultation, selection to installation. So far we have zero complaint.
We were considering to use blinds.com as a more budgeted option the second time at first however it took forever to get samples from blinds.com. We switched back to work with Kartik, he came in the next week with whole bunch of samples. We picked our blinds right away, few weeks later Sean showed up and installed our blinds. We are really pleased with the quality of the blinds as well as the installation.

I have done business with Kartik at Budget Blinds in Mountain View multiple times buying both blinds and shades from him. I can’t say enough good things about how he does business. He shows up when he says he will and keeps me informed while waiting for the blinds to be shipped and arrive. Installation was timely, fast, and efficient each time. There were never any unpleasant surprises.
Prior to my most recent transaction with him, after much research I had decided I wanted to have motorized blinds to cover my skylights as needed. Kartik came out and told me why that was not a good idea and recommended a much cheaper solution. Have you ever heard of a vendor recommending the much cheaper alternative? Even better, he suggested I try his recommended solution on one of the skylights and see if I like it. I tried it for 2 weeks and loved it. I ended up ordering shades for all the skylights.
I highly recommend Kartik if you want the best prices, the best service, and an honest conversation about the best solution for your needs from a very experienced and knowledgeable person.

I wanted to get black out shades for a bay window in the guest bedroom to keep the south-facing room cooler on sunny days and provide a darker room for sleeping. Getting the cellular shades from Budget Blinds Mountain View was amazingly easy. Kartik replied to my appointment request right away. When he came we reviewed samples and Kartik took measurements very quickly. The shades came a few weeks later as promised, and Sean installed them incredibly quickly. Kartik and Sean were both very pleasant and wore masks the whole time. I would highly recommend Budget Blinds MV to anyone looking for window treatments!

Kartik did a wonderful job through the process of selecting and installing our blinds. Via email he was very responsive and honest, and during the measurements he came prepared with all the samples we asked for. His expertise helped us make some decisions about how to layout the shades and how to handle the complexity of requiring the shades to be level despite the house not being level.
During the install he and his helper did a great job of completing the install quickly. Since this was during the pandemic, they also wore gloves and masks the entire time, which we appreciated, and cleaned up well afterwards.
The installed blinds are beautiful and really improve the space they are in -- we will definitely recommend Kartik and Budget Blinds to others.

Kartik came highly recommended by my aunt, so I decided to reach out and see if he can help me with ordering new shades for my condo.
He showed up on time, we walked through the types of shades and I expressed my interest in the roller shades, and he stepped out and grabbed many different samples to show me.
I was really satisfied with the services from start to finish. He had spent about 1 hour with me walking through everything and followed up with me when the blinds came in. He was able to get his team out to me within the next day for installation. I was VERY impressed.
Prices are very reasonable too. Make sure to ask for Kartik to help with your services!
