image Mario was very helpful and quick to respond.  When a washer repair didn't quite go the way we were hoping, Mario came back out and fixed it without charging me anything extra for a second visit.

image I called Mountain Appliance for an appt to check out my refrigerator. Mario arrived for the appt but upon arrival quickly said he forgot his tools at the last job! I looked at him very puzzled! Mario had a truck but no extra set of tools hummmm however, Mario did say he could take a quick look at the fridge! Mario checked the fridge out and said it could be the compressor! Mario didnt charge me but I had to make another appt for him to come back! Gave the guy another chance! So! I made another appt and he came a week later checked out the fridge and said it could be the starter! I asked how much and was given a price of $600-$800 but that he had to order the part and it would take about a week!   I mentioned to him that this could be an insurance issue due to a power surge upon receipt of the $110 trip charge and if so could my issue with the fridge be from the power surge and Mario said said yes it could be! So! Mario told me the service charge trip charge for the day was $110 and he proceeded to use his phone for my credit card and I said could you write that down on the invoice trip charge that its a possibility that it could be from the power surge for my insurance and he said no that I will have it on my email I said I need it for my insurance for the service charge trip charge on the invoice he said no I asked again he than took back the service charge trip charge invoice and than gave back my $110 in cash than rolled the invoice into a ball put it somewhere and than just left!  This was the most frustrating appt EVER in my life! This guy was quick to get annoyed, does not understand, won't listen, won't communicate and seems like he is going to pop! I found he had no social skills whatsoever! My family members and friends that were present listening to this were saying what's up with this guy he has a massive attitude problem is uncooperative and he cannot communicate! Two appts down and still the fridge is not working!  Two trips to come up to Lake Arrowhead and my fridge is still down!  My friends called Fridgidaire's 1800 number while Mario was there spoke to customer service was sent a diagram and found my refrigerator has no starter in it at all!

image Twice Mario and his son have been out to my house in Lake Arrowhead. Courteous and prompt. A pleasure to have someone local to service my appliances.

image Two weeks after Mountain Appliance Repair fixed my gas dryer my big brand  built-in oven/microwave combination had a microwave turntable failure. Swell! When my kitchen was remodeled in 2011 it included this new appliance.  It was the most costly appliance in the kitchen remodel but I was willing to pay $3,600+ for it so I did not have to worry about repairs.  Sorry, nowadays major appliances with parts from Asia and manufacturing in South America are built on two essentials; lower costs and pump-up corporate margins. So my turntable was busted after minimal use and Mountain Appliance Repair came to the rescue.  Well, what they had to do. to replace the tiny turntable motor (about 2-inches in diameter) was spend unbelieveable hours to take this engineering 'masterpiece' apart to replace the $80 part.  Thankfully they perserved. and hours after they started, the turntable now operates.   Thanks for a great job.
