They will demand large upfront payments and then fail to show up to complete the job and drag it on and on. They operate on Their own schedule with little concern if you are happy or not. The work that they do manage to do is poorly made. Doors made uneven. Drawer faces to small. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these conmen. They are not licensed and insured yet they install the cabinets themselves. A liability waiting to happen. Dont let them slip on your property. You will be the one paying for it If you proceed to hire them. Please take my advice and dont give more then 10% down. Make sure you document every detail of the job with contracts and pictures of them installing the cabinets themselves. It will be your only way of protection. Usually when a contractor screws up they carry bond which you can go after to make things right. CAlifornia state license board will not be able to help with anything as they are not licensed or bonded.

Mr. Artur and his son Artem Ryabtsev (DBA Art Wood Works), We hired them in the spring of 2017, to custom build our kitchen cabinets. They promised to build and deliver the cabinets and have them done by the middle of summer 2017. In the meantime, they collected money and promised to do additional work for us in our kitchenette, laundry room, and bathroom cabinets. Unfortunately, they carried this project which was only supposed to be a few months long, until the end of 2017, but completed only some with several flaws, yet had received their payments early on. They failed to show up many times to work, and created false promises and lies of coming, and kept us waiting for a long time. Doors were loose, drawers were crooked, and one of the glass shelves they installed fell and broke some of our expensive china, and left a crack on our counter, which we had to repair ourselves. They ended up finishing the project in full, with still a couple flaws, by the end of 2018! Our laundry room was still never fixed, and they truly never completely finished all of our work. They were not reliable, for it was stressful on us since they would demand early payments, and not show any progress on our home. I would not recommend the work of this father and son, for they continuously lied to us and kept us waiting.
