The Comforted Kitty - Sacramento

My experience with The Comforted Kitty was outstanding. The app they use allows you leave all your vet information and what to do in case of an emergency. It also allows you to leave thorough descriptions and pictures of your kitties. The owner, Dan is very nice and made setting up our account easy. Our caregiver, Alex was amazing! She really got to know our kitties and would text us descriptions of their kitty antics and take pictures of them. She went above and beyond and even brought in our newspapers, mail and packages! We could not be more pleased with The Comforted Kitty and will absolutely tell our friends and neighbors about our experience!

We had a great experience with Maegan as our pet sitter. She is so kind of personable, and loves cats sincerely (since she has a few of her own!) During our time away, she made sure to stay in contact with us after each visit. We got regular updates, pictures, and a few videos of our kitties. We used a lock box to do the keys/alarm, and Maegan was very conscientious in keeping everything secure. When we arrived home, the litter box area was cleaner than when we left it, and our cat seemed totally at ease, like they didn't even notice we left, haha. It's a huge relief to have someone take care of our cats in such a professional, detail oriented, and friendly way. Highly recommend Comforted Kitty, and Maegan!

I have now had Maegan sit for my 16-year-old cat on two separate weekends while I was away, and she's done a fantastic job. My cat has specific health and feeding needs, and Maegan has taken care of everything while providing lots of attention and love. She sends me an e-mail update following each visit along with photos, which provides great peace of mind while I'm away. I'm also impressed by how diligent this company is when it comes to the entire process...couldn't be happier with the overall experience.

Maegan was the best cat sitter we could hope to find. She was kind, professional, super helpful, and incredibly good with our two older cats. She administered medicine without any hesitation on our oldest cat and went above and beyond playing with him every visit. She took the best pictures and always had great updates for us. My husband and I have never hired a cat sitter before -we typically have a family member or a close friend do this when we leave town. This specific trip we found ourselves in need of a sitter last minute so I googled The Comforted Kitty and they were able to accommodate us without any problems and charged a very reasonable price. Excellent care was provided by Maegan -so much so that I would go out of my way to request her specifically next time. This is a very legitimate cat sitting company that provides fantastic service. Cant recommend enough!

10/10 Highly Recommend! We couldn't be happier to have found Comforted Kitty and Maegan. Our kitty has a lot of anxiety and is easily stressed so we feel very guilty and uneasy having to leave him alone when we go out of town. He didn't do well at previous pet hotels where he was forced to be in a very small box for days. I was desperate to find an acceptable cat sitting service. In comes Comforted Kitty to the rescue. I submitted a request online (a very easy process) and soon got a response that we had been assigned to Maegan. We first had a "Meet and Greet" weeks prior to our vacation. We could tell right away that Maegan is very knowledgable about providing care to cats and this made us feel good knowing that our little Pumpkin is in good hands while we're away. We have used Comforted Kitty twice now and have already scheduled a third service. Each time, we have requested Maegan because she's the best! Her communication is excellent - providing us consistent updates (even photos!) about each visit on how Pumpkin is doing. Through our communication, we were able to give her tips on how to get Pumpkin more at ease. She also was able to give him his anti-anxiety medication without any problems. Maegan goes above and beyond and even tries to coordinate the timing of her visits based on our flight departure and arrival times. In addition, Comforted Kitty also uses the "Time to Pet" app that pretty much organizes all the information (ie. Pumpkin's habits, calendar of scheduled visits, emergency contacts, etc). It makes everything so convenient. In summary, if you love your cat(s), there's only one way to go - Comforted Kitty. Dan and Maegan will have your and your kitties' backs :)
