Kwanza did an outstanding job reshaping our overgrown trees. They even worked in the rain on the day we scheduled to have them come out. They were professional, explained exactly what they planned to do, and did a superb job. I was so happy that they thinned areas that were heavy and inviting for pests. We were beyond impressed with the service from Kwanza and his crew from start to finish. We had a 50’ branch come down from one of our 100 year old heritage oak trees on a Friday night nearly taking out our kids play set and a fence. I received a word of mouth recommendation and contact info for Kwanza from a friend and reached out. Even on a Saturday he answered right away and set up a time to assess the tree and give an estimate for late afternoon that Monday. Kwanza showed up and clearly knows his trade, explaining what had happened with the limb that came down and reassuring us that we were not in danger of losing the tree. He was able to give an estimate that afternoon for thinning dead weight from the tree, mitigating the issue with the down branch, and bucking and stacking all the oak. The price was more than reasonable, especially since we kept a cord of firewood from the dead branches he removed. We scheduled the job for 3 days later, and the report from my wife was that he and his crew were as professional and hard working as possible, leaving the tree looking awesome, stacking all the firewood, cleaning up down to the smallest twigs and even humored my 7 year old sons questions about climbing with a chainsaw in the 100 degree heat. We will be using them again for preventative work on the rest of our trees and was so happy with the work it motivated me to post my first review of a business ever.
