MK Auto

I took my car here today to get a smog check done. That went fine and the price was good even though it took over an hour to do and I had to sit in a waiting room with ants all over the table. However, here is my issue. I paid for my smog check and took the car to run an errand and when I parked it I noticed that the back passenger side tire rim was scratched with chipped paint and awful scrapes all over it. I called MK Auto to ask them if something had happened and they denied it, but considering it was not like that, literally 20 minutes before taking it to them and then it was after getting my car from them, I find that very hard to believe. Do not take your car here unless you want some damage, a lot of denial, and zero help.

6 months ago a friend referred me to MK Auto because she trusted one of their head car salesmen whom she has known for many years. I had no idea that for the next 41 months I'd be living with such a horrible decision. Cash, the salesman, knowing that this was my first dealer experience took full advantage of how naïve I was. I was talked into a high mileage '07 Impala that had been previously in an accident. Which was conveniently not disclosed to me. By the time this car is done being paid off I will have paid close to $10,000 over the blue book price. This is the one and only deal that they said would be offered me. The more research I do, the more sick to my stomach I get with each discovery of ways that this car salesman and MK Auto has milked me for all they could. I so wish I would have known the questions to ask and which directions to look for ALL of my options at the time. MK Auto is the perfect example for the stereotypical car dealer that people should fear to do business with. In no way was this a "win win" situation that would make a consumer ever return to this establishment. To future car buyers looking to improve credit... I highly recommend going to a well know dealer where reputation plays a part along side of business, and matters. Dealing with MK Auto was a mistake that I have learned many lessons from. In this I find my only gratitude towards them.

Up marked parts prices on brake pads and rotors more than 200% and their warranty on the work is only for one year/12,000 miles. Do not let them buy the parts you need for the service you are requesting done.
