Most strangest place ever stayed anywhere! Extremely old building, very antiquated lift, carpet needed to be replaced, heatings in bedroom to be more than 50 years old. However rooms clean, comfortable beds, teas/coffee available in the rooms and staffs very pleasant.

Price was good. Hotel room was clean, just old and very small. Not much room to walk around the bed. Interesting room layoutbeds were in separate rooms with a door in between, would be good for a family wanting some privacy. Parking garage was a 2 blocks away and cost $38/ night. Lots of homeless people near garage, but no one bothered us. Room key cards stopped working every day, so we always had to get new key cards. But I got a good price on the room, so hard to complain.

While this wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed, it's close! I understand that it's an old historic building but would it hurt to at least try to upgrade and add a little charm to the rooms? We stayed 2 nights and had to switch rooms after the first night due to a leak in the shower from the shower above. When I called the front desk I was told they would refund me 50% off the first night, when we checked out it was only 30% because "the manager said 50% was too much". And, of course, no manager on site at checkout time. The elevators are like something from Disney's Tower of Terror. The party noise from the street was LOUD! Parking came to $79 for two nights, and it's a block and a half away. AND can only be paid for and accessed by QR code scanning. I'm not sure how anyone would give this place 5 stars unless it's the employees rating them? Do whatever you can to avoid this place!
