I am dumbfounded at the utter inability of this broker to comprehend the material defect off this flipping schema. Claiming a licensed contractor helped you FLIP a house without permits is oxymoronic. This broker actually thinks he's clever!  Buy property for 1.3M, do a bunch of MAJOR illegal construction and then sell for TWICE that, how novel!  A broker participating in such conduct should be reported to Code enforcement, the DRE and MLS. What's the point of calling yourself a licensed anything if you're just going to ignore the requirements of said license.  BUYER BEWARE, unringing the bell of this inept scam to make money off of uneducated, ill educated and/or miseducated  consumers is no excuse for this dangerous, irresponsible grift. The new owner could be held liable for all the unpermitted structural changes made to this home and further, could be required to undo the work. This is a horrible option for a home buyer looking to purchase a $2M home and could cost hundreds of thousands to resolve!  Disclosing you're a crook does not make you less of a crook!

Seth is the best. He worked tirelessly for months helping us find the perfect home (let's just say I am not the most decisive ). He was happily running up and down the coast (I'm talking Kensington to Carlsbad) in the same morning to show us homes we were interested in. He also showed us tons of homes the same day that we'd send them to him, and was always super accommodating with our schedules, and was always honest and insightful when he answered our MANY questions. He found the perfect home for us, and helped us get an awesome deal by thinking outside the box on the offer (twice actually) where we got the house over 27 other offers. This guy kicks butt at his job, works tirelessly, and was a pleasure to work with. Call Seth if you need a realtor!
