ADT Security Services, LLC.

We've been with ADT and it's predecessors since 2003, and until this week we had a perfectly operational system. But this week ADT sent a technician to change it our 3G transceiver since the cellular carriers are about to turn off 3G service. When I came home from work that evening I found a blinking trouble light and after running self tests I discovered the system couldn't communicate with ADT. That was the start of the nightmare. I tried to call ADT tech support but would have had to wait on hold for more time than I had (rushing to an appointment). I did manage to get to an agent through the web chat. The best she could do was set up a video appointment two days later. That appointment is in a few hours. Assuming the technician installed defective hardware, this will be a waste of my time. Meanwhile, I have no working system. If it isn't fixed today, I will do what you should do now if you're shopping for a security system... FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER WHO IS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE CUSTOMER'S NEEDS!

ADT recently made a mess "upgrading" the security system I had originally installed by them in 1993. A power failure will now instantly set off my alarm and call the police. If they don't fix it right on the next service call I will find another alarm company.
