Keri Systems is installed at NYCHA's Queensbridge Houses, the largest public housing project in North America.MOST of the intercoms have stopped working. Some tenants have a recording of an electronic audio pass key that can be used [played to intercom] to open some [but not all] doors from the outside. Some apartments have actually disappeared from the directory listing. At 41-04 Vernon Boulevard apt 1B and apt 3D are missing. See queensbridge.us for photos.

Absolutely horrendous company. They refuse to help the end-users who ended up with their garbage can equipment. Installer didn't survive Covid's business closures so they went out of business. Here we are on a Friday, unable to get our system functioning to secure our building and Keri says 'sorry call someone locally'. I would HIGHLY recommend shopping around for companies that actually provide after-sales support. Keri will leave you high and dry. What kind of 'security' company doesn't care if their system is not working? JUNK!!!!

Not sure why this shows CA - I am in MA.I installed Kerisys NXT 4D systems at two sites(2 panels each) as a "self install" rather than hiring a pro. It took a bit of doing to understand the system, but the hardware and software is solid.Tech support from the factory is non-existant unless you are a professional installer or buy a service contract for hundreds per year. I do get some assistance from the regional rep (a benefit of buying through authorized distributors). On the plus side, warranty support for the hardware is great and even out of warranty repairs are done on a same day board swap basis. Kerisys goes to great lengths to protect their dealers. You must go through a dealer to get an RMA for a non-warranty repair, which means the dealer gets to mark the Kerisys fee up by $100.The larger of my installations runs 6 doors and 2 vehicle gates with over 1000 individual cardholders. In addition to traditional card access, I can remotely program the gates to be open at certain time windows. The system has been highly reliable, with the exception of a lightening strike (after which the boards were swapped for working ones the day I sent them to Kerisys). The system is really designed to be installed and supported by a professional security company, however, if you are a techie it is possible to DIY. Just be forewarned that you will be on your own, I think the regional rep was actually surprised I was able to get my system working without professional assistance.

If I could give fewer stars, I would.Keri's Application Database was installed on a user's computer. Now that user needs to have their computer replaced, and I want to migrate the Database to a server. The problem is that Keri won't speak to me as an end user, and my local reseller isn't computer savvy enough to help me with a database migration. So instead of interfacing with me directly, I have to present the question to my reseller, who has to present the question to Keri. Then Keri tells my reseller the answer, and I get the answer back from someone who doesn't understand what's happening.I won't be using this system anymore when it comes time to renew. Pay attention to the other reviews on this page and stay away from Keri.UPDATE: Jan 25, 2016 - I'm on the phone right now with Keri Support (well a 3 way call with my reseller and Keri) and I'm baffled at the lack of knowledge Keri has about their parts or their software. So baffled that I'm logging into a 2 year old review just to make sure I gave them the 1 star they deserve. This tech is clueless.

Keri Systems refuses to provide any free Technical Support.I believe; if a company is going to sell software and products, they should provide technical manuals, and or support.I manage a large building, which uses the Keri System. Recently I purchased new Fob Keys and tried to set them up in the system. And even though the new Fob Keys were setup, they did not work. The technical manual was no help, so I called Keri Systems. But Keri Systems was NO help at all.As I said; I believe if a company is going to sell software and products, they should provide technical manuals, and or support.Keri Systems refuses to provide any Technical Support. So I would recommend that if you are looking to purchase a Proximity Key System; do NOT buy a Keri System.
