Worst.Place.EVER. Will elaborate later. Heard they shut down without notice, but has other locations. We have 2 dental coverages, but they still always managed to find hundreds of $$ worth of stuff to charge for. 3 years and I am still waiting for explanation. Caused me to not be able to use my orthodontic coverage. Upsold us on things without asking and then finally gave a "credit" when we pushed to find out what the additional $600 charge was for... AND the poorly placed crown just fell out of my husband's mouth... not to mention one doctor kept trying to set my husband up with her daughter even though OUR WHOLE FAMILY CAME HERE FOR SERVICES (wife and kid included).... just ugh.

I came here recently and received amazing service from the doctor, hygienist, and all the staff. I definitely recommend coming here for everyone in the family!

Today, February 1, 2018, I went to the 5130 Stevens Creek Coast Dental office for a routine dental exam and cleaning. Anna at the front desk was extremely helpful. The X-Ray technician took the necessary bitewing X-Rays. Then, Dr.Tanuja Gosavi answered all my questions patiently before she herself did the cleaning. Next, her assistant took care of the polishing and flossing. Overall, my experience in this first visit was so satisfactory that I scheduled my 6-month return visit before I left the dentist office.

The actual dental work was satisfactory. But the communication in this office is horrific. I was told that I needed a root canal before I could put on a crown. The dentist proceeded to work on my tooth and then put a crown on. I was impressed how quick it was. Then she told me after it was done that they have an orthodontist do root canals and it was only temporary and that I would have to make an appointment to get the root canal done. I go to the front desk and the roughly 18-year old kid asks me if I would like to schedule the appointment and so I do. I come back in 2 weeks, wait, sit down. The same dentist comes back in and asks how the root canal was. I am confused, because that was why I was there. She only then tells me that they don't have an orthdontist on-site and that I have to schedule an appointment down the street with someone else. So that was a colossal waste of time. On the way out, the kid at the desk says he will give me some paperwork and a referral for the orthdontist. He gives me some paperwork and as I'm walking out the door looking at it, I realize there is no referral in it. I mention it to him and he says, "Oh, sorry. Can I see your paper?" and all he does is write a phone number on it and hands it back to me. No name, no address. I was very explicit about finding out how much everything would cost to do this because I couldn't afford much since the bulk was out of pocket. But they didn't tell me that I would have to pay for the root canal separately. So now I have a crown that is already paid for but I can't get it until I do the root canal which I now can't afford.
