Don't bother with anyone else, your research ends here. This company not only educated me on the differences between salt-based solutions and conditioners (they sell both solutions), they recommended a conditioner based on what I actually needed. Other companies will either sell you some expensive, proprietary tech or will go ahead and sell you a salt-based solution (even if it's not necessary for you) only because they can make extra money on it. I laugh inside when I hear how much my neighbors spent on their unnecessary installations. City water has always been helpful, even offering consulting info for free on the phone, always personable. One time I called to ask if I needed to flush my tankless water heater on a yearly basis if I owned a water conditioning solution. Though the lady on the phone couldn't answer me immediately, they called back with the answer (answer is that it's not necessary) and even texted me that info afterwards. You guys rock, you deserve all the kudos for going up and beyond in terms of customer service! Many thanks!

Customer service attitude is bad and very unprofessional. They don't have insurance to cover your countertop if there is damage when drill the hole. Stay away from them!

My daughter went to college in Oregon and when she returned home on breaks or visits, she would experience an adverse reaction to the water and break out. We tried installing a shower filtration system but to no avail. I contacted City Water and dealt with Clay. He is the best. We installed the whole house filtration system and immediately, no skin irritation system. I highly recommend this. I now am even more comfortable drinking water directly from our tap. Which leaves me to ask the question - what are they putting in our water???? We are slowly being poisoned.

Clay and his team are awesome. When I moved to Livermore, in 2016, i was disgusted with the water quality. Nasty taste and water spots on everything. Clay spent a good amount of time on the phone with me and explained things in more detail then I could imagine. I agreed to the price and come install time, he worked with his guys to get it all done quickly and efficiently. We went with the conditioner system and RO under sink drinking water. A line was even run to our refrigerator so that we get the same delicious alkaline water cold and ice. Annual reminders for filter changes are on point. Since then, City Water Filter has installed systems in the homes of my sister and other friends. All have been very happy.
