It had been a long time since my hardwood floor installation and it was time for hardwood floor refinishing. I searched for hardwood floor refinishing near me and decided on Specialized Surfaces. They did an exemplary job and were also able to perform wood floor repair on a section of my damaged hardwood. Specialized Surfaces is an excellent choice for anyone in the Orange County region.

We wanted to have our marble floors, countertops and restrooms redone. The shine in our marble had gone away over the years and we also wanted to get rid of the scratch marks. After calling a few marble contractors in Orange County and having them come out for an estimate we decided to go with Specialized. They were professional, knowledgeable, provided honest options on what can be done. I also like that their pricing was just right. Not too high or too low. They came in and restored and refinished our marble floors, countertops and restrooms. They did a terrific job and left our place clean (dust free and mess free). I highly recommend these flooring contractor guys.

I never wrote review but since I chose this company based on google reviews, I am writing now because I don't know what to do since the company will not return my many phone calls to fix their poorly done grout. I am very sad and upset, sometimes I couldn't even sleep because I wasted $1,000 for nothing. I hired Tom to do my bath tub / bath room tile floor, kitchen countertop, kitchen tile floor, front entrance tile floor grout for my 630 square foot condominium for $1,000 cash. The service consisted of deep cleaning of all tiles and grout, removal of existing grout, installation of new cement based grout with similar color, and sealing of all surrounding grout for 136 square feet area. After it was done in November 2020, I called Tom in December 2020 complaining the grouts on the tile floor were done poorly as all the grout were smudged, see photos attached. He didn't return my calls, I followed up with emails and he didn't reply. Then in March 2021, I noticed the grouts in bath tub started to cracked (see photos attached), I called the company many times, also reached up to Tom directly as well as emails. Now it's the end of April, no reply at all. My $1000 is wasted and I don't know what to do. I remember Tom said he would guarantee his work. I woke up early this morning and felt so bad I chose this company based on the reviews and wasted $1000, and I need to get someone else now to fix them because I live on 3rd floor condo, and the cracked grouts surround the bath tub may create water leak to my down stair neighbor, and I don't have money for it. I feel so helpless and sad and upset.... Services: Worktops, Coating, Restoration, Flooring repair
