    March 28, 2024 3:45 AM I stayed here for one night with my wife and toddler. I had to leave very early in the morning just before 4 AM and needed to go to the front desk to retrieve my car keys, which had been valet parked the night before. I was met at the front desk by a woman (I assume) who worked for the hotel. They took awhile to come out after I rang the bell, and expressed that they were sick no big deal. They asked me if I was checking out and I hesitated for for a moment to answer, and explained that I would be leaving, but my wife and child would be staying and that I had requested my car be available for my very early in the morning. In a matter of seconds they became very impatient and agitated. They responded so no, the answer is no then in a rude, impatient and condescending tone that caught me off guard. I think any sleep deprived parent of a toddler can relate to the feeling of having diminished mental capacity especially at 3:45 AM. So after their response I hesitated further, this time to gather my thoughts, trying to understand why they were treating me this way, given how there was no one else around and no need to hurry. In fact, if anything I should be the one in a rush given that I had a flight to catch. I told her that I didnt deserve to be talked to in a condescending way and she argued with me. Given her response, I matched her condescension, she gave me the keys and told me have a nice day and I left. I try to think of myself as a reasonable person so Ill try to assess this in a reasonable way giving credit where credit is due as well as empathy. The daytime staff at the front desk the night before were great. They were very helpful they even helped me make photocopies of documents I needed for my trip. The experience this morning, however, would prevent me and my family from ever going back to this hotel. I understand that people have bad days, and working early mornings can be difficult. Had they apologized or acknowledged, at least, that they were having having a bad day, I wouldnt be writing this review. Its a shame but in times like these i always wonder had I looked or spoken in a certain way- one that is more stereotypically aligned with power or authority- the I would have been treated differently. I shouldnt have to act like an a**hole in defense to not be treated like one.

    We stayed here for my husbands birthday but the service here during our check-in completely ruined our experience. The gentleman named Grant at the front-desk needs to go back to school to get some customer service/hospitality training. Besides this, the hotel was lovely and all the other staff were courteous.

    Customer service is non existent. Their excuse is they are a small boutique hotel so do not expect much. Hotel rooms are dated and have mildew smell. 0 personal approach and communication at check in. "Give your id & credit card - here's your room key". No information about the property, no tour, nothing. I asked about the restroom location and was told it's by the pool, like I'm supposed to know where the pool is. Except for the valet people, who were amazing, the rest of the staff has zero desire to provide even satisfactory service. For $500/night I expect much more pleasant stay experience, take your business elsewhere.

    Located along the shoreline, views fantastic. A bit removed from outside dining options, but the on site restaurant is excellent for dinner and breakfast. Lacking in room coffee making facilities however this is available in the lobby.
