The service is horrendous. We spent over 5k worth of customer shower doors with this company.  Less than 2 years later the frosted coating has water spots on it.  When we fist called we were told we'd have to buy a whole new door...really? Then we had to call again and insist they send someone to look at the problem with the frosting (etching) on the custom shower door that is less than 2 years old.  The guys showed up on time, but after he left we had to call back 2 more times to get an answer of what they  found.  Here is the million dollar answer..."it's soap scum"...umm, how is that possible since it's only in one spot? Their solution..."we don't know what to tell you"...and that is why they get one star.  Poor response time and even worse customer service.  I would never ever hope anyone uses them.  I wish I would have just stuck with Home Depot or Lowes.  I al a aya try to support local businesses but in this case they don't provide any support whatsoever.  What a shame.

Recently, South Bay Showers installed the shower door enclosures in both my bathrooms.  I went with an Ultima Frameless door in my master bath and the Phantom sliding glass doors in my secondary bathroom.  I'm 100% pleased with the work and happy with the end result.  I also purchased my cultured marble countertops from them for the vanity cabinets.  Once again, super happy with the quality.  I walked into the shop, gave them my measurements, the templates for the sink cutouts, and they gave me exactly what I wanted.  The fit was perfect as I installed those myself.  Everyone at South Bay is very nice and personable.  When you go into the shop, someone is always ready and willing to help with answering all your questions.  They're also super knowledgeable and understand what you want.  The owners Debby, Rick, and Mike are amazing.  Everyone there is.  The installers are good people as well.  There were a couple hiccups along the way but I'm not going to knock them for that because it wasn't their fault.  I'm a Supply Chain Manager for a living so I know what they go through to try and get material in house especially during these crazy times with the worldwide shortage of material.  It is what it is, and we just have to be patient and make the best of it.  At the end of the day, they held up their end of the bargain and gave me what I paid for.  Took a little longer than expected but it was definitely worth the wait.  I'll definitely use South Bay Showers again without a doubt and I'd highly recommend them to anyone.
