My husband and I came to pick up our take out order placed on the ANQI website. The transaction was through Kitchen United, a third party vendor, and was prepaid. The restaurant is located inside of BLOOMINGDALES and was a bit challenging to find. When we arrived, our order was on the bar. My name was clearly visible on the receipt stapled to the bag. My husband told the cashier that the order sitting on the bar was our order. Yet, she kept insisting the order was NOT ours and was trying to give us a fried rice order. I finally told her firmly, the order is ours and were taking it! Not sure, if we were treated a certain way based on our race, but thats what we felt. We will NEVER dine-in or takeout from this restaurant again. And, it does NOT taste anything like Crustaceans in SF. A $100 lesson learned.

Hard to find in Bloomingdale's if it weren't for the signs.This review is for Happy Hour 3-5pm last Sunday. First off, I'd like to say the service was great with the wait staff - very attentive and friendly personalities. It wasn't too crowded. A bit pricey for HH but I thought the quality was great.The black pepper wings were nicely seasoned with light salt and pepper, not spicy. The flavor was very good but I think it was over fried due to the dryness of the meat. Pork belly buns were great in contrasting flavors of thick pork slices, hoisin sauce, and pallet cleansing garnish and buns. Although I liked them, it didn't really stand out to me compared to other pork belly buns from modern Asian fusion restaurants nearby. The tiger prawn rolls were unique, unlike tempura shrimp.  This went well with the spicy chili duck sauce! The lychee martinis were actually good/strong and not too sweet where other bartenders would dump the syrup into it. I like the lemon and lychee garnish to it. I would come back now knowing that it's easier to get here from the BofA side.

This definitely would've been five if they had not had a new bartender. He did great the first go, but as customers started coming in, he got a little distracted, and his cocktails got a little, not tasty. But, the team that runs the show in general, is amazing! The food is absolutely outstanding.
