Saken Sports Camp - Pacific Palisades

This review is for the beach volleyball camp. My then-9-year-old daughter who is not particularly athletic was a complete novice to the sport and didn't know anyone there during spring break 2022. She ended up really enjoying it, returning in summer and now winter. She is also very excited to show off her skills when her school PE classes start volleyball. We have nothing but nice things to say about the coaches, especially Rio--who is wonderful about communicating--and Janna. My only tip is that if you do the afternoon beach portion and your kid is picky about boogie boarding, have them bring their own board--apparently the "good" boards go quickly lol.

Saken Camps are fantastic! All staff are fun and really able to meet my kid where he was at each and every day. He cant wait for school breaks to go to Saken! Im so thankful we found this gem of a camp! We have signed up for different sites and he had a blast at each one! Ive been meaning to do a review for so long and the truth is - it just gets better. Thanks Saken for making the camp choice so easy!

Our son Jack's favorite camp four years running, in every iteration - at Curtis School, private camp, and Saken Sand and Sea. Sand and Sea is hands down the best location and has been the highlight of our summer!!!! The counselors are all clean positive and upstanding men and women. My son looks up to them every summer and hopes to be one when he is older. We cant say enough nice things about Rio Saken and how he has accommodated the COVID provisions both this summer and last summer and made Saken Sand and Sea a safe and healthy camp. Rio goes out of his way to get to know each family and make sure each child is welcome and thriving. Our highest possible recommendation!

My son had an incredible time at Saken Sports Camp over Spring Break. He cannot wait to go back for the summer.
