We live close by and we're looking to go out and eat somewhere good but without busting the bank.Dos Carlitos is that place. Their food is great and the taste seems to always be consistent. They seem to have enough seating inside and outside. If your a bit to cold sit inside by the fireplace. If your running hot then sit outside.I don't drink by my wife says the drinks are good too.For a local like myself I like the atmosphere and the staff are always cordial and professional.

Our first time to Dos Carlitos after it was recommended by friends. First come, first served here (no reservations) so we went early (4:45pm) on a Friday night. We were seated immediately indoors (there's plenty of patio dining available as well) but the place quickly filled up. The ambiance is relaxed - fire in the fireplace - with tables spaced out. Our waiter was quick and we were served water, chips, salsa & a black bean salsa almost immediately. The black bean salsa was especially good, although a little hard to scoop up with the chips. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Quesadilla, the Dos Carlitos Steak Tostado & Mole Poblano Tacos. Our meals arrived very quickly & we dug in. My mole was very good with ample amounts of rice & beans. The homemade tortillas were very good. My son enjoyed his quesadilla but my husbands tostado was disappointing. There were huge chunks of steak & tomatoe (I mean huge, like 6" long strips of steak) so they didn't skimp there but the rest was mostly lettuce. The black beans did make an appearance at the very bottom. Overall, it was a very nice spot for dinner & reasonably priced.
