Steve Moore Quality Air (i.e., Steve) removed two existing A/C units and installed two new A/C units relocated from the backyard to the side of our home. Due to a concurrent landscaping project, we asked Steve to perform the A/C removal several weeks before the install of the new units and he was extremely accommodating and timely in meeting our schedule needs. Steve communicated very clearly in the scope of the work and pricing included in his quote…which was very reasonable. Steve was referred to us by a neighbor and we could not be more pleased with the overall experience. Steve is very professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, punctual/timely and his attention to detail is exceptional. I rarely take the time to leave reviews for products and/or services, but in this situation, I felt compelled to share my very positive experience with Steve Moore Quality Air. I had 8 contractors at my house to renovate and upgrade in preparation for for renting. Steve was, hands down, the best contractor I had out there. His follow up and communication were not only excellent, it was unique out of all eight contractors: I knew exactly what was going on, even if it was just waiting for parts. I NEVER had to follow up (which is really rare in SoCal). He worked with timing of other contractors. I never thought I would say this but his HVAC installs were actually "pretty". We have had Steve out for the past three years getting our AC charged because of a small leak. Last year we discussed replacing it and he suggested we wait until the colder months because it would cost less. Right there tells you a lot of what you need to know. We just had him replace the AC and the heater and we are more than happy with the entire process. He and his employees are very pleasant to work with and were respectful of our house and yard. They cleaned everything up and even took down a picture to ensure it wouldn't accidentally get broken. Finally, poor Steve ended up on our roof, in the rain, and it is a very high roof, because the vent cover wasn't installed correctly originally and it went flying when he worked on it. He even had to rent a ladder because his didn't reach. Outstanding work, pleasant people, and we know we got our money's worth in every aspect. Steve Moore deserves every one of these 5 star reviews. He would get 10 stars from me if I could! I had a thermostat issue last week (just before this heat wave) and after having two pretty handy/DIY savvy friends spend hours trying to fix the issue, I finally broke down and started searching for an a/c repair company. I am SO SO thankful that I contacted Steve Moore Quality Air. After sending an inquiry, he reached out and told me to call him because he might be able to walk me through a diagnosis and save me the charge for a visit. After a brief convo of the issue he confirmed my guess that it was a blown fuse, and then went above and beyond by video calling and walking me through each step to find/remove/replace the fuse. I spent $4 to replace the fuse instead of hundreds on a pro visit to do the same thing. He is such a stand up guy and I highly recommend calling him if you have any a/c issues.
