This is a fake nursing company. They sweet talk you at first, then they send in UNPROFESSIONAL nurses etc so they can bill you more and more money. They do everything to make you dependent on them but their nurses are lazy and dont care one iota. Please stay away from these frauds.

Medical Care Professionals is the most thorough and skilled Bay Area company providing home caregivers and nurses. Both the caregivers and nurses are highly empathic and skilled professionals who understand how to provide great medical care and build strong emotional connections with their patients. As a physician with multiple elderly patients who have received care from this company I am deeply impressed. From meticulous management of skin ulcers to complex management of advanced cancers, this company provides proactive and detailed oriented care that dramatically improves the quality of life and longevity of their patients.

The staff at Medical Care Professionals have done an incredible job over the years for our family. It started with my mother over 30 years ago. She was fully incapacitated for the the last ten years of her life. Without their care, I don't know what we would have done. Their staff became like our extended family. More recently Medical Care Professionals provided excellent care for my father in law for the last year of his life. He lived to almost 101 years old. I don't believe that would have happened without their care. He was able to stay in his own home until the end. Currently, my wife had a medical issue and they were able to help with her rehabilitation, as well as direct us to excellent doctors to assist with our challenge. I can't recommend Medical Care Professionals enough for the care they have provided us over the years. Thank you Medical Care Professionals!! Lisa and Gary

I'm sharing my experience with Medical Care Professional as a warning to others who might consider hiring them for nursing care. The poor care they provided to my mother. While I appreciate the hard work and dedication of many caregivers, both persons that were sent to take care of my her made me regret choosing this company. Here are the list of problems: 1. Communication: There were instances where we felt that communication between the caregivers and our family member could have been clearer. We believe that more detailed explanations of procedures and treatment plans would have been reassuring. One of their caregivers would simply nod her head with "yea, yea, yea", as if she understood me but I would quickly realize that she hadn't. This particular person or would constantly share her salty snacks with my mother who was on a sodium restrictive diet. She simply wouldn't stop sharing her treats with my mother until I put my foot down. 2. Timeliness: There were delays in administering medications. Timely care is crucial, especially for patients with specific medical needs. 3. Empathy: It's important for caregivers to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patients and their families. We encountered a few situations where a more compassionate approach would have made the experience less stressful. On more than one occasion, I caught the caregiver chatting/texting on her phone instead of attending to my mother's request. 4. Documentation: Accurate and thorough documentation is essential for proper care. We noticed some inconsistencies between what the caregivers documented vs what the actual status of my mother's health. The final straw for me was when I found out that my mother fell down which led to more complications yet it was not charted in the nurses notes anywhere or reported to her supervisor. I understand that healthcare professionals face challenges daily, but Medical Care Professionals either decides to ignore the problem or pretend it doesn't exist. infuriating! Beware of using this company. I regret hiring them for my mother's care and fortunately found another agency to take care of my mother with the respect and thoughtfulness she deserved.

If there was less than one star that's where this particular business should be. They have very underhanded methods by which they conduct business buyer beware. One of the tactics they use most is that initially they will send people their superstar first. In our case of the 3 they saddled us with 2 people that have no real medical training of any kind and are very lacking in comprehension and the ability to follow through on simple instructions. One of the people they sent us was very up in age and had serious mobility issues which scared us immensely. We thought she would have an accident every hour of the day in our home. The other one has serious memory or comprehension issues . Constantly late to work. These people are not cheap by any means. It requires hourly supervision. If you bring anything to their attention they don't care. Choose wisely
