If you can get ahold of them, they are the best. Kind, informative, on time, friendly. The owners dont even charge that much, they do it to help people get around the tricky roads here safely.

This guy is a one man band, and not just because he's the only driver for this quaint Stinson Beach taxi service. He also plays the trumpet! He tooted "When The Saints Go Marching In" and "Happy Birthday" during our ride from the beach back to our car at Muir Woods Visitor Center. His name escapes me, but the guy runs the local bed and breakfast just a block or so from the beach. The rate was $45, but he was something of life saver. If you don't plan your hike well (and we didnt) you can end up a long way from your vehicle late in the day. There is a bus that takes you to a trail, and from there it's an hour hike, but we were beat. The driver knows a lot about the area and it's history. A wonderful conversant, and a good tumpet player. Would use again. His car is on the older side, but is an extremely comfortable ride. He will try to get you to spend the night at his Bed and Breakfast. I hope I get to experience that at some point soon...I think I would request a special morning trumpet reveille to get the day started off right.
