Terrible receptionist, especially Crystal who is rude to customers.

My wife felt Dr Smolkin was rude with some arrogance and was easily angered by his staff. The worst part was he put too much torque on the root canal instrument during the procedure and was forced to leave a piece of the drill tip in her tooth! She is still in a lot of pain over a week later.

I love Dr Smolkin! He did a retreat on a reinfected root canal for me, best endodontist ever!

Just been in his van Nuys office, I am not really internet person but I had to write a review this dentist, i was there for consultation. very unfriendly and rude staff but worst than them was the dentist Dr. Darren Smolkin dds , he was so obnoxious and he did not answer any of my question and did not spent even more than 2 minutes after looking at my x-ray . He just trying to send me a back to my general dentist for really small work. And they want to charge me $250.00 more from different dentist for same job. I don’t recommend this dentist to anyone.
