This company assured me that there was no water damage/mold in their rental unit. As soon as we arrived we found there was previously a huge flood in the kitchen (warped floor boards the length of the galley kitchen), mold on the ceiling and walls of the three downstairs bedrooms. It was so bad that we could not stay in the rooms. We we had to camp out in the living room. We called Grand Welcome first thing the next morning and they said "good luck" we can't find you another rental and we're not going to refund you a penny. VRBO said rebook and we'll refund you. We spent days of our precious vacation, desperately trying to find another rental and finally did. "Grand Welcome" continues to fight me 6 months later on my credit card. Aside from unhelpful, this company blatantly lied, and put my family at risk. My concern is that they deny there is any mold, so I have no idea how many other families will be exposed. Be careful if you want to book, they certainly don't offer a grand welcome--let alone an apology for putting my family in a terribly difficult and dangerous situation. That's aside from ruining our MUCH needed vacation.

Ruined my life by cancelling my expensive vacation that tons of family are coming to just a bit shy of the reservation. Grand Welcome is the worst business on earth. I’d literally rather support a business whose goal it is to burn my skin with cigarettes every day than these terrible people.

I made a reservation in Lake Tahoe, even though there is a wild fire they refuse to refund me. Beware or you will be out money and a vacation like me. Please read the other reviews , I wish I would have read them before I booked with this company. Response to their response- Airbnb has said the one refusing to refund me is your company. No attempt was made to accommodate me at a rescheduled time or to maybe bypass your strict policy. Your customers are what make a business successful , not a policy. The fire is still going on by the way , a week after I requested refund. Your polite response does not make your poor customer service any better.

I wish 0 stars was an option. 1 star is being too generous. Wildfire with evacuation orders at Lake Tahoe right now and this company won't let us cancel our Airbnb! They rather keep our money, or have us burn to death!! Horrible customer service!!!
