Took an unsolicited sales call, by accident. I was asked the general questions. I told them that I wanted to work with a local company, brick and mortar in my area, got the standard "we have an office our sales managers check into"... what is the address, "I don't have that, but I can get it".... then you do not have an office here. When I said I was not currently interested because I have a lot with work, "what, you don't have 30 minutes" no not for a couple of months, "wow I can't believe you don't have 30 minutes" Please take me off your list ... "F*#@ YOU" *click* Now you will certainly NEVER get my business. Thank your telemarketer for that

They are completely dishonest and unethical. I signed a contract for solar panel installation. I later found out a number of their business practices were illegal. The sales persons signature on contract was illegible and his printed name was omitted and he was not registered which is illegal. They required me to pay up front for work before it was done which is illegal. The contract did not list the work to be performed or the equipment to be used which is illegal. The contract failed to list material terms agreed to by a representative of the company which is illegal. The license number they gave me was not one required for solar installation. The contract called for the electrical circuit breaker panel box to be upgraded to a 200 amp system but none of the plans submitted to me had this provision in them. They told me I should have the house foundation retrofitted for earthquake safety. They wanted to charge me $10,000. for the retrofitting work alone to be performed. They never posted the required building permit which is illegal. I later found out that the City of Long Beach Planning Department had declared the retrofitting work should not cost more than $4,500. The workmen they sent to do the retrofit were undocumented workers who did not speak any English, had never done this kind of work before, and there was no one sent to supervise them. The materials they sent were later found to be inadequate to do the job. They never showed me they had a City of Long Beach business license required for them to do solar installations in the city. I cancelled the illegal contract but unfortunately not before I had paid them $6,000. up front on a job they wanted $23,000. for the solar installation plus an additional $10,000 for the foundation retrofit for a 950 ft2 house. The only actual solar installation work they did was a solar panel layout analysis on the roof which took all of two hours, far more time than it should have. I did consult an attorney but the amount I paid was not sufficient to take it to court. I have not received a single dime back from them. I have received a costly and bitter lesson from this awful experience. Don't do business with this company, don't make my mistake.

I purchased solar panels in August 2015. I thought the system was great. I was getting bills from SCE for $2.25 per month. At the end of mt contract time I received a bill For $885.00. OMG! I called SCE and asked why my bill was so high and they said, My Panels Only Produced $44.00 worth of energy per month. I was told they would produce $75.00 worth on energy. WOW! I tried to get my rebate in February of 2016 and was unable to get one, but GNRG made me take out another loan for the rebate that I was unable to get Later. So now I am paying $75.00 Per month for my Panels that ONLY produce $44.00 worth of energy $112.00 per month for the rebate lone and $100.00 per month on a payment plan to SCE to pay the back money that I owe them. WHAT A MESS! I called GNRG to get them to come check my panels to see why there were not producing $75.00 of energy like they said and to ask for my rebate back that I paid them for and was unable to get form the Government. I called several time and was told they would call me back. I finally, after 11 months was able to speak with a guy Named MIKE, who said he would call me back after looking over my plan. He also told me to try to put the rebate on someone else's taxes and I said that was fraud. What and experience that left me $20,000.00 in debt. I am now paying $300.00 per month, EVERY month for energy. CALL ME BACK MIKE and give me my MONEY!
