To say I'm obsessed with their ceviche would be an understatement- I've tried the ceviche in almost every restaurant in Ventura County and nobody touches their ceviche - it is the freshest most flavorful mix I've experienced, and to make it even better they just added octopus to their menu! The rest of the food I've has here is also super fresh & delicious, by far my favorite Mexican restaurant.

Very puzzling how this place gets the reviews it has gotten. Chicken enchilada combo with red sauce was awful. Either the red sauce or the tortilla was bad. Tasted too acidic/metallic/off. The chicken was somewhere between not-so-great and okay. I picked a grey piece out of one of the enchiladas. Refried beans and rice were quite bland. The meat in the steak quesadilla was chewy. The meat in the steak fajitas was a bit better, but I think it would have been also better with more seasoning. Chips are a bit overdone for my taste. The green tomatillo and avocado salsas were good. Not enough to get my return business.

Went here because of the good reviews. Well, I didn't care for this place. The refried beans tasted like canned as did the salsas. Well, the green tomatillo salsa was fresh tasting. The chili relleno was tasteless-the red sauce looked anemic and the relleno itself tasted as though it had come out of the refrigerator. The rice was okay. Nothing looked or tasted fresh. The menu was varied but it is better to have a few great items than a big menu of mediocrity. Really wanted to like this eatery but will bypass when visiting this great city of Ventura.
