I travel quite a bit. I need a hotel that has a restaurant and workout facilities. I think they built a hotel around the gym. Look at these pictures. Awesome

PROS: The service at the Marriott Renaissance Walnut Creek is amazing. Everyone has been so kind! It is also very quiet which is always nice!
CONS:
-location is less than ideal if you are looking for downtown Walnut Creek which is about a 45 min walk away
-the parking lot appears to be primarily designated for a large gym that is located in the hotel and does not have an elevator. You can carry your bag up a flight of stairs or walk back out of the parking garage and around to the front of the hotel
-the decor is dated and looks like you are walking on to a Disney cruise ship for some reason
-as a solo female traveler I immediately noticed the door to the bathroom was shut so I cautiously opened and immediately realized the door had been shut to keep the overwhelming mold smell out of the room. There are mold spores on the ceiling and along every seam of wallpaper, in the shower and around the sink. Ive been Platinum for 10 years with Marriott and never requested a room change until today because I am truly worried about this mold and its potential to make guests ill.
