        This place opened in 1933. Friendly place, Good food. Good atmosphere. Zen is not one of the original employees.

        I've been here several times, but not recently until a couple of weeks ago. Atmosphere is cool, and the bar is still pretty great, but the restaurant now leaves a lot to be desired. You have to wait in line at the window to order. The night we were there they were out of several food items, including hamburgers. They didn't have a list of unavailable items posted, so I had to walk back to our table and reorder, then get back in line. When I was in line for the 3rd time because of the unavailable food items the order taker just turned and walked away. I hadn't been rude or unpleasant and she said nothing as she left. We had only been able to get drinks (thank you, bar!) but had already been there over an hour. Because of the food items being unavailable, standing in the order line 3 times, and the order taker leaving we been unable to even place our food order. We finally got up and left.
