I recently noticed a "growth" in my Pug's mouth. I took him to Clinton Keith Vet. to find out what it was. Dr. Black looked at him and said "in her opinion, this growth was an infection caused by a bone or something being lodged in my Pug's jawbone". She then said " his teeth could use a cleaning and if this is done, I will remove the growth at the same time". I went along with this, assuming that this was indeed an infection of some sort. Approximately 2 months later, the growth was back with a vengence. At this point my husband and I knew that this was not an infection at all but Cancer. When we took him back to Dr. Black, she said "yes, I even lasered this to make sure that it wouldn't come back...thusly, admitting that she was aware that the growth was Cancer, but she went ahead and did the teeth cleaning, costing us $600.00. What kind of an ethical Vet would do this, knowing that the dog probably would not live long. As it turned out we had to have our beloved Pug put to sleep. We now live with broken hearts and broken trust.

I was very happy with the service I received here. My dog Chico had a Ear Hematoma and they gave me two options. One surgical and one non surgical...We went non surgical and seems he will be getting better. They gave him antibiotics, steroids and a special cream to put in ear. He looks a lot better and I am thankful they didn't try to take me for a ride on the money train. Thanks! You GUYS ROCK! GREAT STAFF TOO!

if you love your animal you will never take your pet here! I have never been to a place where so few people were friendly and cared for your feelings. The cold hearted people here do not deserve to be in their position. There are so many good vets out there that you do not need to bother with them, Do yourself and your pet a favor and go elsewhere where the people who are supposed to help and be there for you actually do so.

I took my 3 month old grey kitten to Dr. Black this morning with a diagnosis of Spina Bifida. The staff was able to get her in last minute due to an infection. Dr. Black and her staff was FABULOUS!! Our kitty was born with Spina Bifida and we took diligent care of her as long as we could. She was unable to eat this morning and we knew it was time to have her quality of life evaluated. Dr. Black was so caring and took wonderful care of our kitty. She allowed me to spend time with her, and allowed me to hold her during the procedure. She and her staff felt my pain... The pricing is fair and I would recommend this vet hospital a million times over! Our situation was a painful experience and they handled it sweetly. I can only say that in a routine situation, I'm positive they would be even more fantastic. Thank you Dr. Black and Clinton Keith Vet staff!
