By far the best agent/agency I have ever dealt with. Excellent customer service spanning 20+ years. Polite, compassionate and very, very knowledgeable. Melissa and her team (Kristen, Destiny) have always exceeded my expectations whether liability, home or cars. Consistency is a hallmark. The quality of service has never wavered. Melissa and team have seen us through our home, the hail storms, the flood, the teenage driving years, the college years, and into our dotage. Her/their understanding of Farmer’s policies, riders and systems has always had us prepared for most eventualities at a reasonable price. The mastery of the claims process has saved time, money and headaches. In short, nothing but the highest praise and recommendation for exemplary service.

My family and I have been clients of Melissa Cohen’s insurance agency for many years. We have always been really grateful for the spectacular customer service that she and her team have provided for our home, auto, and renter’s insurance plans. They are astoundingly quick to assist/respond and will follow up to ensure complete satisfaction. The whole office has always been so friendly, and they remember who all of us are and always ask how everyone is. Their agency has an unparalleled knowledge of available insurance products and services, which has always been extremely helpful. I would absolutely recommend Melissa Cohen’s insurance agency. Looking for coverage for a mountain home, this agent was very difficult to work with. She sent me an immediate refusal based on satellite images she likely found on google? She wouldn't even send me the general guidelines for a property to meet fire mitigation standards and asked no questions about what might have been done already since the mysteriously sourced photos were viewed. Competitors to this agent, also working with Farmers, were able to help me find suitable and even affordable coverage and were able to send me the guidelines. They were thorough in asking questions about the, build, upgrades, proximity of fire services and mitigation requirements the property would require so I could put it in the inspection requests on the property purchase. I kindly asked for the general guidelines twice from this agent and was twice denied the basic information. Don't expect her representation of Farmers to actually reflect the insurer.
