We had spoken and setup time with Mountain Sky Landscaping to come and give an estimate on landscaping, fencing, and a pool quote. This was for a brand new built home on a 1 acre lot, well over 100k job. The home is not completed yet so we had to drive to the site to meet. The first meeting with Patrick, to give us a quote, was setup for Saturday (9/25/21) at 11:00AM- he called 30 minutes before the meeting and canceled. This meeting was setup well in advance, so it was a bit frustrating but things happen so we were flexible and rescheduled. We agreed on the phone to reschedule the meeting for the following day, Sunday (9/26/21) for 3:00PM. The next day we got a google invite for this meeting and they had changed the time to 3:30PM, not a big deal but this was a change from what was discussed. We show up at the property a few minutes before 3:30PM and waited. After the meeting time had gone over almost 10 minutes and he had not shown up, we gave Patrick a call. He tried to inform me he was on his way and would text his ETA to me, he had clearly forgotten the meeting or just didn't care enough to let us know he would be late. I've attached the text show he was going to arrive at the earliest by 4:00PM, 30 minutes pasted our scheduled meeting time. After getting the ETA via text, I gave him a call back and canceled our meeting and informed Patrick that this was unprofessional and I would be leaving a review. Patrick then begins to beg me not to leave a review and tells me he will give me $500 off my job (this meeting was for a quote, so I'm sure he'd work that $500 back in when he did our quote). The second message he sent was him attempting to "save face" for being unprofessional. As he states, he was clearly very unprofessional. So long story short- if they can't keep promises on meeting to give quotes then I'm doubting they get any better after you hirer them. Highly unprofessional and if you get assigned to get an estimate from Patrick, well don't hold your breath... he most likely won't show up! So we are off to find a company that our business matters! My advice would be avoid working with Mountain Sky Landscaping and Patrick! You'll save yourself time as they seem to only value themselves!
