Worst of the worst renting agency!! We cleaned our house and did everything they asked of us and still charged us for it! They charged us for a water filter that they neglected to change when we moved. This company isnt worth it!

Bergan has responded and provided us will all the the information that we required. Bergan and Co was the leasing agent for our parents rental property and did not respond to any of our calls or emails after we found out about many failures on their part. Unknown to us until after the fact, the tenants were without heat for 3 months during winter and were only provided space heaters. The furnace had failed but that was Bergan's solution. At the end of the lease, Bergan did not provide our tenants with a letter about deductions or a list as to why they retained the security deposit. {the deposit had been returned to our parent after all} This is required by law within a certain time frame.We found out about this right before that timeframe was up, thankfully. (The owner had just moved to Colorado where the property is located.) The tenants had left the property in good shape. We returned the damage deposit in full, out of pocket, to be legal, to the tenants because Bergan never responded to our inquiries. I upped my review from 1 to 3 stars.

All of their positive reviews are fake. And they delete negative ones. Short and sweet: dont ever rent from Bergan. Its not worth the headache. They overcharge for everything, their maintenance team no call no shows and they hold onto your security deposits for extended periods of time post lease termination. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these crooks.
