Trumpet Behavioral Health

They are understaffed to the point they can't make a program for a kiddo. They have one person in charge of every plan right now. I'm going to try and stick it out because my son loves his therapists but the communication is horrible. When you take your kiddo to the center and they tell you they don't have anyone to watch him that's a bad sign.

I would not recommend any minorities to use Trumpet Behavioral Health. Over the course of the past 3 months I have repeatedly asked the center to not perform in-person services on my son via email - due to the mounting Covid-19 cases among children in the state of Michigan. This was escalated to the COO Joshua Sleeper. I informed Mr. Sleeper of my concerns - and he told me that he was going to continue services for my child. The call by all accounts and my emails were not aggressive or threatening. However - Mr. Sleeper provided a false testimony during a recent custody case. Our phone call was recorded - so for him to blatantly go into court and lie is beyond me. I'm deeply applaud - and concerned by his lack of integrity and ethics. I believe his comfortability in providing the false testimony is because I am a minority. If this type of behavior is at the top of the organization - it's fair to say it's most likely widespread throughout TBH. I would not trust this company with minority children.

My daughter has been receiving ABA therapy there just over a year. I am extremely pleased with the progress made. She has multiple therapist that have done a wonderful job, Best of all she loves to go and I never worry about whether or not she’s safe. Not sure about some of these other reviews due to the fact that I usually am told I’m pretty picky and not always realistic on expectations.

This company's corporate approach to care is harmful to both clients and workers there. They choose to have a revolving door for new employees rather than make efforts to maintain them, disrupting the care and treatment of the kids. I hope they make some changes
