Imperial Combat Arts- Denver Martial Arts

I love just being a student and the environment is structured, almost military esque. There is a hierarchy that you must respect and overall people are very supportive while focusing on themselves. Don't take this lightly and know if you become a student too you'll become a true warrior vs. a watered down warrior for sport. These guys are so amazing. I suggest to be open and be prepared to be pushed. Work for it and you will succeed! Are you ready to embrace the warrior spirit within and become what others can only imagine of? Think will be handed to you, then this is the wrong place for you.

Rare and amazing experience, this is real, practical martial arts! Imperial Combat will prepare you for life-or-death situations, and ensure your survival with intense training, toughening and conditioning. I wanted a level of comfort with ground fighting that karate, wing-chun, BJJ and kungfu didn't provide. I found it and so much more! If first timer, there is no better place to start, if experienced in any other art, exceed your limits with traditional Chinese martial arts and High Master Taan.

Imperial Combat Arts is not your typical martial arts school. Every lesson is valuable and applicable in the real world. When I first started my training, I was unsure of my capabilities since I had no previous experience. With every class, I notice growth in myself and my fellow warrior brothers not just in our Body, but in our Mind and Spirit as well. I am honored to train under a Master who is passionate and disciplined about the arts and willing to share his knowledge and skills with those serious about training. Forever grateful for this journey of self-discovery and evolution with my warrior family.

So many things to learn. If one is prepared to be open there is invaluable knowledge to be acquired to give you a sense of preparedness for the world in all of its unpredictability. You will learn a better sense of your body’s movements and its capabilities as well as its limitations and work to improve in all aspects. The instructors at the school are genuine and truly passionate about what they do.
