Service declining. Staff uninformed about sales and sizing. Have purchased three suits from this location but can't even get measurements for an online tuxedo rental. Would rather shop online or at Banana Republic

The store was dirty and looked like no one took the time to clean before the store opened. Moths all over the place, lint, dust all over. We expect the store to be presentable for the public.

As a longtime customer of Jos. A. Bank, I was utterly dismayed by a recent experience. A couple of weeks ago, I had purchased a sweater in my usual size. A week or two later, upon putting that sweater on for the first time, it was way, way too tight. Not even close to the usual fit. (And I have a bunch of Jos. A. Bank sweaters in my closet.) It was so tight that in immediately taking it off, one of the seams under my arm ripped. So I took the sweater along with my receipt back to this store. Only to be told by the sales clerk (who later then told me he was also the store manager so I had no one else with whom I could talk) that since I had put on the sweater, it had been "worn" - and "worn" items could not be returned. So much for customer service; so much for standing behind your product. And so much for rewarding customer loyalty. I had spent all of $39 on this sweater. (Marked down from $110.) So for 39 lousy bucks, Jos. A. Bank lost a customer of two or three decades standing. Avoid this store for certain. And, sadly, probably avoid this company if this is indicative of their customer approach.
