Woody's Woodfired Tavern

I eat there often for lunch. Not a big fan of their wood fired pizza but like the salad bar, sandwiches and the beer cheese soup. What an eye opener this weekend. After ziplining in Conifer we decide to go to Woodys in Golden. What a difference! This was a crowded Saturday, but the service was fantastic, the food was 2 steps above the Evans location. I loved the pizza selection(s) on the buffet and the pizzas were just downright good. How can 2 locations be so strikingly different. Hey Woody's management....You listening??? Send your management team from Golden into the Evans location and bring that place up to the Golden location standards. What a difference!

They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and leggings are not appropriate work attire. My husband and I decided to go out for dinner for once and meet up with with a friend and chose to go to Woody's since it is not far from home. When we got there, we had to wait for about 20 minutes to be seated, we were fine with that since it was a Friday. However we had to wait another 30 minutes for the waitress in the area to even acknowledge that we were in her area. I had to get up and go to the bar to get request some water about 15 minutes after we got seated, and at that time I noticed a whole bunch of lazy servers hanging out in the kitchen area by the pizza bar. When the waitress finally approached the table all you could see was how disgustingly tight her leggings were and she was really rude, and when she turned around, to leave our table it looked like her leggings were going to rip at the seam on her ass. Anyways, my husband and I left without ordering anything, and if they were expecting a tip on the water that I had to go and request, they are sadly mistaking. I'm highly disgusted with the level of service that was given. It was way better under the old management. Oh, by the way, If I wanted to pay for shitty service, I would have flown myself to Las Vegas and eaten at Dick's Last Resort, at least they acknowledge you there and get you taken care of in a timely manner.

Great place for pizza, and the Beer Cheese soup is amazing! They are awesome for large private parties. I hosted my surprise engagement party here, and it was wonderful!! Our server was awesome! The manager was great to work with, and everything was an awesome success! The Karaoke on Saturday nights is pretty good as well! It was so much fun!
