Do not hire Ayran’s Home Improvement aka AHI!!! Please feel free to reach out to me directly before you hire this company. I feel like we were totally taken advantage of and he kept making up charges as we go. The last estimate I got was on 12/29 and he started on 1/11. He blamed that prices went up in material.
Happy to have you also walk thru my house and show you the mistakes and misses.
They are unprofessional with their cursing and loud music even though they knew I was working from home.
He will make choices for you without asking, use wrong paint color, not own up to anything and make you cry thinking everything is your fault. I went thru specifics on the our first walk thru and he didn’t take notes then blamed me for not speaking up. One should understand that the normal person doesn’t understand construction and the options
He also threw out our custom made blinds! He said to subtract that from the cost but I didn’t want to make up a price for something I purchased 6 years ago.
He never came back to finish the job on the steps and when I showed him the blind receipt from Home Depot he told me to pound sand and he won’t be paying me. His justification was that the installation in the basement ceiling should have been $2800!!!!
Just there is the main issue... he didn’t include insulation on my initial estimate. Not even a note saying insulation will be extra. Verbally we started out at $450 then I wanted more soundproofing so it doubled to $900 but he charged me $1650 and now tells me it should have been $2800!!!! Because he wouldn’t pay the $228 for the custom blinds he threw away without asking me???? He even reused some old insulation we had in the basement.
He states that we didn’t have the money for the nice finished but he never asked. He sold us in the first walk thru “I only use the best material” and I don’t feel like the sloppy work in the pictures has anything to do with money... it is about quality and pride in your work!! It’s a blame game the whole time.
Screen door installed wasn’t fixed
He ordered the wrong size cabinets then we had to pay $500 for them to cut them down in size
Initial estimate was $1000 off....so don’t ever just look at the total they put. Make sure you add up all the items to get a correct total due. Service: Remodelling
