Go Retro and eat at a Furr's cafeteria! Excellent, clean and great service! The food, well, great for a cafeteria. Don't forget to tip the wait staff and they will go to the line and get you extra food! Especially Ricky! He is awesome. Favorite food, Chicken And Cole Slaw! Bom!

I have been there number of times. There were edible items on the menu - a very small percentage of them. One of the elderly family members liked Furrs, so we indulged that person, and met there once for a birthday party. My spouse selected ham from the menu - turned out to be disgusting. I wrapped it up in the napkin and took it home for our dog, who ... turned it down. Last visit to Furrs resulted in my stomach aching for entire afternoon. I think the "potato casserole" was at fault. I think they had very many problems at the location. I have never seen the kitchen, and I am glad I didn't. The salad bar, from what I sampled, was always at least OK. The desserts were for the most part too sweet. My daughter found a human hair in their okra once, and there were no apologies for the complaint. Food from the hot buffet was at 95%, slop.
