Went to school there it was great, had Ms. Jo, so you know that was way back, just saw the posting and read the great reviews, God Bless keep up the good work.... I heard you have a teacher there named Cecil Walker, he was a student with myself at that time, wanted to say he is a fantastic stylist and buzzer, I knew he would be teaching one day, shout out to you my friend, God Bless, always thinking of you....

I have never had my hair done here, but my daughter goes and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place.  Where else can you get a wash and blow dry for $6? Shoot you can't even get breakfast that cheap!My daughter has "rapidly rising hair." Once the water (any water or moisture) hits it her hair just grows and grows like the StayPuf Marshmallow Man.  Actually it kind of reminds me of that movie Gremlins? Her hair is all soft and long and beautiful until water gets near it and then it morphs into this huge, uncontrollable, tangled mess.  I used to have to prepare myself, mentally, for days to do her hair.  And then a friend (if you follow my reviews it's the same friend who pointed me to Star Pizza in Stratford) recommended Leon's.  I was skeptical, but since I literally had to make a massage appointment before AND after doing my daughter's hair I decided to give it a try.Now to be frank, this place is kinda skanky.  It is a hair school after all--there are no fancy chairs, no pretty lighting, the bowls are pretty basic,and the stairs are treacherous but they can do hair and they don't charge an arm and a leg to do it.  My daughter goes to Clarissa and when her hair is done she is a SUPER beauty.  They take her from the frizzy puff ball to a super model...no exaggeration!
