John Wright is the BEST- his work is impeccable, he is as HONEST as they come. And he is an incredibly nice person. I’ve known John for many years, and he has done much work for me, big & small, all excellent.

Amazing work. Clean, detailed and precise. And on time. You know someone is a professional when they let you know they will be even 5 mins late. I don’t say this lightly as I’m a very picky customer. I’m on to my 4th GC. But this company is great and they will be doing my kitchen Reno soon. Thank you John! Now I just hope he will still have time for my projects.

John basically rebuilt our 250 year old home! He did a great job! He was competent in all aspects of the job. He communicated any issues clearly and was thoughtful in how to approach moving forward. All permits were pulled and inspections passed on the first go round. He always kept things clean so we could stay living in our home during major construction. I would highly recommend John for any construction projects.

If you are considering hiring John Wright of The Home Improvement Company for a project, whether a repair, remodel or big addition, do not hesitate. John has done several jobs for us, inside and out, and always of the very highest quality at a fair price and on-time. I have the additional good fortune of having John as a neighbor. As a guy whose tool collection consists of a single phillips head screw driver (currently lost in the yard) I have on several occasions been rescued by John in crises both large and small. When a near tornado sent trees crashing through all 3 of our bedrooms and blocked our driveway, John immediately cleared the trees and patched the roof to prevent further damage. He repaired and painted all the ceilings and walls, had the roof permanently fixed and brought in his heating and A/C guy to replace the damaged A/C unit. That’s the other thing: while John can build and repair most anything, he also has a great network of fellow contractors for work outside of his specialty. Not only is John reliable, but as a perfectionist, his work is super high-quality. John does first-rate repair and remodeling, but he can also build you an entire house! He did just that for our other neighbor after theirs was destroyed in a hurricane a few years ago (yes, we have lots of trees around here). On top of it all, John is a genuinely nice guy, warm, honest and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend John Wright and The Home Improvement Company of Ridgefield, CT.

John completely rebuilt our bathroom. He worked with us each step of the way as we planned the project together. John goes above and beyond; he called and sent pictures between each step and pushed the project forward through obstacles (permitting and missing items). If you want high quality and a contractor who is invested in your outcome, The Home Improvement Company is for you. Highly recommended.
