We had an excellent experience with Pang from the moment we entered the Alelagroup student housing office. Not only were we welcomed, he provided suggestions of other available units in other complexes that would meet our desire needs. Pang was courteous and a true professional—-if all representatives are like Pang I would highly recommend Acela Management for your student housing needs. A UConn Parent student displaced by Covid 19 low density on campus housing plan.

Moved into hunting lodge apartments in September. Said they were going to change the cabinets and stove since ours are outdated and one of the burners on the stove is broken, that was almost 6 months ago. No new stove or cabinets. They told us there would be internet installed, we moved in and had to set up our own internet plan for 4-5 months. It’s almost impossible to get ahold of anyone at the leasing office by phone, and they don’t respond to emails. Heat was broken when we moved in and they didn’t fix it until we put in 2 work orders and it was about 20 degrees outside. The backyard is covered in broken glass and empty bottles. The building is old and dilapidated, it doesn’t seem like they take care of anything outside. Terrible experience, wouldn’t recommend. Edit: the day after I posted this review I got emails and phone calls about setting up a date to install cabinets and they were installed the next week. Still should’ve been done along time ago since one of your managers told us she was trying to get us new cabinets since before we moved in. I shouldn’t have to leave a bad google review to get someone’s attention Maintenance guys were nice. Edit 2: don’t live in any of the properties they own. As in my original complaint, I brought up that there were a mess of broken bottles and garbage in the back of our building. Nothing was done to clean it, and now we just got an email saying if they notice more garbage, they’re going to charge EVERYONE to clean it, when all the garbage was clearly there before we moved in. I can’t wait to get out of here.
