Someone I knew invited me to this church last year. After giving myself fully to the Most High God in the hospital April 2021, I wanted to seek him more on a higher level when I was discharged May 2021. I was scorned by some members, but I never let that affect me. Joined the young Ministry Group and learned alot, but any good leader should always be willing to learn too and not act like a recruiter, my way or the highway. The Holy Spirit increased due to my willingness to die to my flesh. When the holy spirit increase, I continued to see how much manipulation that occurred with the Pastor, his son and some leaders. February 27th 2022 when they were asking for money for Ukraine, I went up to the altar and raised my hands in attempt to asked for help for the people in the Hamden fire. The leader of the youth ministry group came to me and told me I need to sit down because I am interrupting the service, and several other guys came. I did not want them to touch me and walked around saying touch not my anointed and how can they help people away and do not care for people in close proximity. Something in my spirit said go up on the Altar, so if anything was done to me it would be live. I fell and about 7 to 10 guys held me down. Told them I couldn't breathe and they said, "don't listen to her, wait until the pastor give the okay." Mind you, I was still recovering from being hospitalized with Covid pneumonia. I felt like George Floyd, except in Church. Those ways are not ways of the Living God. I may not understood the protocols to certain things, but there are better approach. Wednesday of that week I went to the Church for Bible studies because Pastor Brown was teaching. The Pastor and his son stopped me and asked if I forgot what happened on Sunday. I told them that I tried to ask for help for the people of Hamden while they were asking for help for Ukraine. They told me that I was not allowed to go to Bible study and not welcome there any more. I said okay and proceeded to exit. While exiting, they told me to wait while they called the cops. I told them I came for Bible study and since I cannot attend, I will be going home. They followed me to my car, and took pictures. I told them that they have my address and the cops can find me there. When the cops arrive, I had just gotten out the shower. They told me to just throw on a robe and that was not an option. The only way I would go to the door in a robe will for a significant other when God sees fit. A person who knew some legal things called me around the same time. The phone was on speaker because I was trying to get dress. The cops said, " you don't need to come out again, just do not return to Promise Land. The spirit of manipulation will always be exposed, but many gets threatened because our eyes are open to the lies of this world. If you ever choose to go here, then do not get wrapped up in being part of the in group. Just learn what you need to learn and let God lead. God is using the ones people might try to reject for his kingdom purpose and you do not need a title. Be bless people and stay alert.

Love my church. Pastor and sister Pam are amazing and their heart and passion for the Lord and the congregation is so evident. You truly feel like family. The true word of God is preached and every time you come to a service you truly experience the presence of God and have an encounter that ignites a desire to seek the Lord even more. Every week just gets better. My family has been blessed to be a part of Promise Land.
