Eric Johnson is a very fine piano technician. He will make your instrument sing and will go to great lengths to coax every musical quality he can from your piano. Bravo Eric.

Eric has done an amazing job with our 1961 Steinway Model M. We purchased it last year, and it needed a lot of work, both cosmetic and technical. Eric did all the technical work, including replacing all the hammers, voicing the keyboard, and of course retuning and overall making the piano sound wonderful! He also installed a piano humidifier system. For the cosmetic work, Eric connected us with very skilled people who refinished the fallboard and recovered the keys, and he facilitated the entire process. Thanks to him, we have a beautiful piano that I love to play!

Eric spend an afternoon voicing my two-year-old Mason&Hamlin AA, which had become a little too bright and edgy to my taste. The results were astonishing. He evened out several tonal inconsistencies in all three registers (base/middle /high) and made the overall tonal quality rounder and warmer. When I played Schubert's Impromptu Op. 90 No. 3, the layers with distinct colors and characters were something I have rarely experienced on any pianos of this size I ever played (including all the top brands). With an understanding of his extensive experience and his hours of fine tuning each note meticulously, I am not surprised that his work was magical and transformative to the piano.
