    I am disappointed in their follow up service. We had sprinkler system installed in the spring. They told us that any damage would not be covered if we don’t use them to close and winterize. When we called them to make an appointment to close the system they told us they were not taking any more appointments. This is not a way to treat your customers. So what do we do now? I will never recommend them again.

    After paying over $2K for irrigation in the spring, I called to have Fancy Cutz on 10/21/21 winterize it. They said that they couldn't because of staff. No new closings are being scheduled. BEWARE. They are not a viable company. I am still under warranty, which is now basically useless. BEST TO FIND A FULL SERVICE COMPANY, which is NOT FANCY CUTZ. What other company would be so unresponsive six months after installation? YOU DID NOT CONTACT ME; I CONTACTED YOU. 1.) I should have been notified. 2.)You could have subcontracted with someone to help do service work.. I agreed to pay for winterizing, WHICH WAS REQUIRED UNDER YOUR WARRANTY., BUT YOU CAN'T DO. Leaving a customer high and dry is unacceptable to ME, NOT FANCY CUTZ.. 2) Since Brian @Fancy Cutz likes to share my emails, perhaps he would share the one he sent me today about Fancy Cutz no longer doing business with me, even though I have six months of warranty remaining. It wasn't the job; it was the service or lack of.. Brian, a quality company is measured on how they treat customers after the sale. 3)Your so called "honest response" was not a voluntary one. I called you. It was just an excuse. Another point, at no time did I say/imply or suggest winterizing as warranty work. I was paying. It was part of your service, and I had a quote, since Spring, from Fancy Cutz for $90.. The only real threat was our irrigation pipes freezing. Yes, acknowledging, in my email ,your disregard maybe threatening" to you, bu a service to others. Lastly, the title above regarding my complaint says "NOT PROFESSIONAL".

    Make sure you stay on top of this company We had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Fancy Cutz. We decided to hire them based upon our perception of their stellar reputation and a few neighbors recommendations that had good experiences with them. We signed a contract for a paver patio with siting walls and 2 entrance piers as well as for new mulched beds under our fence, around the patio and back of the house. The first issue was that It took 4 and a half months for them to start the job. We signed in mid-October of 2020 with an expected start date of mid-December but our job did not start until April of 2021. Some of the delays were legitimate and some were not. We were given the run around and it became quite clear that our job was not a priority, perhaps because we did not complain about the initial delays. Once the job started the real fun began. This is a summary of the issues: Patio sitting walls and Piers were installed wrong, off by 8” on each side which resulted in half of the patio being taken down and rebuilt to fix the mistake. The border that we had in our contract to go around the patio surface was forgotten and not included. To correct this, they would have had to pull up a good portion of the patio and redo it. We opted out of this inconvenience. Lighting on the Piers at the rear entrance of the patio was forgotten and not included. To correct this the piers would have had to be partially deconstructed and rebuilt. We opted out of this inconvenience. The step from the existing porch to the patio was installed with the wrong stone. It was supposed to be one solid piece and they installed multiple pieces. This had to be redone. The piers were built to the wrong size. Our contract stated 24” and they were built at 20”. We accepted this to avoid the inconvenience of having them rebuilt which would also have affected the patio sitting walls and surface. The irrigation system was not properly relocated and they had to come back twice to fix it. There is still an issue but we can’t get them to return emails or calls to come out and take care of it, The new mulched beds around the patio and back of the house were not installed by removing the grass. They, instead, covered the grass with landscape cloth and then added mulch to cover it. Within a few weeks the grass was growing through it. This was, ultimately fixed but after much delay and lack of response from Fancy Cutz. The sod patches at the entrances to the patio were poor quality and uneven. The edge of the patio is unfinished as well with the base material and black plastic border still visible. The sod was supposed to grow over this. They also did not replace damaged sod where the pallets that stored the patio stones were located. We are still trying to get them to come fix this but they have not been responsive. We are filing a small claim for the damaged sod and improper irrigation head placement. We emailed Fancy Cutz about the sod and irrigation issues and included pictures on 5/2/21 and again on 5/20/21 but we never got a response. We called again today in a last ditch effort to avoid going to court and were told by Mallory in the office that she would reach out to Brian and get back to us by the end of today. That never happened so here we are. We hope nobody else has this experience with Fancy Cutz and will never recommend them to anyone. In response to the owner of Fancy Cutz -- here are some pictures of the beautiful sod job. And you did not sod where the pallets were -- that is a lie and we have more pictures to prove it. Very short sighted of you to let this situation escalate. And the "free sod" was your responsibility to replace when you damaged the existing sod to install the patio. It is also interesting that you did not comment on the long list of other issues we had, obviously, because they are true and we have proof. We will see you in court.
