The owner of the facility Scooters 4 Rent in Selbyville, DE, Leslie sold a portable power wheelchair to my parents for my dad to use in August, 2023. In September, 2023 my dad passed away and only drove the w/c once inside the house. In October, 2023, Leslie offered to have a lady trial it to see if she wanted to buy it. We have repeatedly tried to get the money from Leslie or have him return the wheelchair. He continues to lie and say that he will bring by a check or return the wheelchair. It is now almost Christmas, 2023. Do not do business with this company, they are dishonest and untrustworthy.

This is an absolutely wonderful company. The owner is the sweetest, kindest person ever. So accommodating and helpful. I have dealt with all kinds of people over the years for scooters, and I have never had the pleasure of speaking to anyone so compassionate about helping people. I know for a fact that as long as Scooters-4-Rent is in business, I will never need to worry about a mobility scooter in the Rehobeth Beach area. Thank you for stellar customer service and support. I would give 10 stars if I could!

This is a great company, they went above and beyond to help us. My mother had passed away during Covid and my brother came to help me with arrangements. During the time he was here, my brothers wheelchair broke down. My brother is a paraplegic and has to live in a wheelchair. We found no one in our area. Everyone was closed because of the virus, or would not help. I called Scooters-4-Rent and spoke to Gail, one of the owners. Gail said, they were closed too but, her and her husband Les would find a way to help. Les asked some questions to see if something would help, but nothing did. Les drove over 3 hours to come and help my brother. Les was able to fix my brothers wheelchair and would not accept a tip for all he did. Les left our home at 6:45 pm for the long ride home. I can not thank Gail and Les enough for what they did.

Poor Customer Service. They are here to take your money. My mother In law rented to own a scooter on a Thursday (the price of the scooter is way higher then what it’s worth). She passed away on Saturday and they won’t even take the scooter back and give some of the money back. The people we spoke to were no help and offered to be no help. I would never recommend anyone to do business with this company. Also they are closed and are appointment only and won’t meet you for days. How do you even operate a business this way when someone says they are sitting at your business just all around terrible****Harold was not rude or threatening that was a family friend that called***

Very friendly staff. Be careful about buying a scooter that weighs too much for what you need.
