Premier Allergist - D.C. 19th

Booked an appointment over the phone. Specifically made sure to confirm that they accepted my Anthem insurance because I've had issues with that in the past. They said yes, and the Anthem website also says that they are in network. However about 20 minutes in to my actual appointment, they come into the room and say whoops you're actually out of network. You can pay $200 - $300 for this new patient visit plus a couple thousand for the immunotherapy serum or you can leave. So I obviously left. Two stars because the employees were nice and apologetic, but whoever initially checked my insurance needs additional training. Edit: Premier Allergist is listed as accepted on the Anthem website (under their former name of "Allergy & Asthma Center"), with the same office address that's listed on the Premier website. Yet Premier still told me I wasn't in network during my appointment

The office is very clean and your greated by a friendly professionally dressed and compassionate receptionist. The office is also very professional no outside conversations at desk etc. The nurse Yessica was also very kind she administered the allergy testing and was quick and she's so kind. Today was my first visit and I was very pleased. I will be referring my daughter here for her asthma and allergies. Dr. Ifeyinwa Okocha was the first physician/allergist to actually take the time to listen and address my concerns. She first listened with empathy and she put together a plan to get to the bottom of why I'm randomly break-breaking-out

I have been going to this office for the last couple years and everyone is such a delight to work with. From the front desk receptionist to both the girls who administered shots, they would listen and chat and had the friendliest disposition. I would recommend going to both the doctors and this office for treatment!
