Had a lovely stay at the DC Fairmont. We lucked out with a 9th floor experience through Fairmont Gold and it added to a special experience in our nations capital. I highly suggest kicking it up for the Gold floor if you can to have the full experience. The morning breakfasts set you up for the long days of walking typical of a stay in DC and the afternoon snack and drinks spread is a majestic hunger-taming bridge to allow for relaxed plans for supper. We also frequented about 4 excellent vegan restaurants within walking distance. This was a 5-star experience and Fairmont should be proud of their current operations. My coworkers and I went to the Fairmont for a couple of drinks and loved it. The bar had a better offering than we expected for a hotel bar. The ambiance was great as well as the service. We will be back to enjoy their beautiful courtyard bar, when its not cold out. I really enjoyed their spiced verde cocktail!
Food & drinks: Cocktails were great and we really enjoyed their wine selection. We had some small bites and it was excellent!

Noteworthy details: If you're driving yourself to the hotel, don't expect any help whatsoever from the bellboys, other than telling you to drive along, and pointing at the luggage trolly and telling you you can use it.
Front desk was helpful and courteous.

Very nice hotel with super helpful staff. Beautiful outdoor courtyard.
