I called Tungsten Prep to find a tutor to help my son raise his SAT scores. From the start, our experience was personal, customized and our rep, Sheena, was incredibly attentive. Our son was paired with Rachel, and we could not have asked for a better match. They worked well together. Rachel picked up immediately on the areas he really needed to focus on, as well as his test-taking and learning style. It’s also important to note that we were not locked in to a set amount of time or classes. The schedule was based on need, not the company’s program, which was great. The tutors at Tungsten prep were great at helping my son with his AP classes during virtual learning. The staff found great matches and communicated well. The tutors were helpful and flexible! Highly recommend.

Rachel was a great influence on Arrie. The interaction those two had offered great personal growth opportunities for my raising senior. Tungsten has been a wonderful resource for our family over the past few years! Sheena has a great way of targeting just the right supports need and identifying perfect Tungsten tutor to help fill that need. Our first experience was with Caitlin who worked with our son over a several months to strengthen his Spanish skills. Caitlin was extremely warm and friendly, as well as organize and efficient with the allotted time and even made extra time to support him with large projects. I appreciated that Caitlin always provided a written summary and weekly learning objectives after each session so I knew how the time was used and my son was able to monitor his progress and prepare for the following week. He ended up doing well in his class due to Caitlin and Tungsten. Even more, Caitlin was truly invested in James and so encouraging and kind to him. Now, we're back at Tungsten for help with SAT/ACT prep. Sheena already has sent us samples for both types of tests to help our son determine which test works better for him. Tungsten has an array of virtual test prep courses that we'll use this summer. We're so happy for all their resources to help us prepare for the college testing process.
