Diana & Samantha at Alliance Title provided exceptional service and overcommunicated each step of the way. They exceeded my lofty expectations.

While at the title company for a closing, my daughter (the buyer) over heard office personnel (including the owner) unsympathetically poking fun at an email I (buyer co-signer) wrote calling it “ridiculous†and “hilarious†taking pictures of it to share with their husbands because it was an unbelievable email. My daughter shared this with me once I arrived to the office. Shortly after we were done signing papers I asked to speak to these ladies to find out why my email was ridiculous and hilarious. In my email I was legitimately trying to find ways to get the closing done without having to miss work, forfeit a days pay, and drive two hours to the closing, based on information I was given by my realtor and the title company. It was clear to me there had to be a huge misunderstanding of what I was trying to do. Diane the owner came at us guns blazing about how difficult the process was dealing with purchase of the house, of which I agreed. My daughter simply said that she found the comments about clients rude and unprofessional. All I wanted to know why was my email, ridiculous and hilarious, I tried 3 times, but was rudely stopped from talking, and then asked to leave. Diane, like I attempted to say various times, I didn’t realize we had to be present in your office to sign, I didn’t see the email that said so either. Every doc until then was signed online so I assumed the closing would be the same. Your office and our realtor mentioned mobile notaries, and that they can meet anywhere and NO I was not asking to get anyone to meet inside a theme park (which is where we work), that’s ludicrous. The location I suggested was near our work so that we could avoid either being late or calling out and for reason you found that unreasonable: trying to not miss work. Ultimately we learned that because of time there really wasn’t a single option but to drive two hours, call out from work, lose a days pay (because we are tipped employees) so we did, that’s all that needed to be said. I understand you didn’t mean for my daughter to hear your back talk about an email you totally misunderstood, but the fact is that she did hear it and instead of apologizing you justified it, defended it, you wouldn’t let me clarify, and you rudely dismissed us. It was very upsetting and I don’t think we deserved it. We may have inadvertently and unknowingly made this closing process difficult for you and your staff but we were never rude or insensitive to what you had to say. So I thank you for making my daughter’s first house buying experience a bad memory.
