We came in and the hostess just looked at us and said "hey!" in like a bothered way, so I said "hi how are you?" excitedly she smiled and said to follow her, she took us directly to the bar booth in the corner near the bar entrance! The bartender asked what we were drinking, I told her my mother wants water no lemon and I don't want anything right now, you could see the disgust in her face thinking she wasn't going to get a tip, I mean really, a Hispanic man with his elderly mother asking for water, I tried joking with her a few times to ease her mind but she refused to smile or even try to act like she enjoyed her job, mind you the 2 men at the bar she smiled and joked with but then serious again with us! We ordered I explained my mom is very picky (I know another red flag in the service industry) and that she needs her ribs plain no seasonings at all, I told her I understand that sometimes it's not possible, she assured us that it is possible there! My mom got her ribs and immediately said they were spicy (I already know my mom and knew that there was black pepper on it) server came to check up on us and I explained mom thinks it's spicy and that it's because she's really sensitive to black pepper but she cut me off before I could even finish and demanded that she double checked that they didn't put any seasonings on it and it's impossible that it could be spicy and asked if mom wanted anything else but mom being very afraid of what this overly excited girl might do to her next plate (mom's 85 with alzheimers) she said she would be alright, the server then left! I tried a piece of mom's ribs and looked and saw that the pepper is already on the ribs like a precooked rub and I decided to tell her that I figured it out and explain that it's in the ribs precooked and she looked at my mom and said "all I can say is don't order them ever again problem solved" 15 years ago that kind of service was not tolerated but this is the 1st time I've been here in 2 years, since my last horrible experience, thought I'd give it another try but the service in this place is going to just get worse since it's obviously not changed for the better!

Very nice experience loved our food and our waitress was great too
